This past weekend was the Sidney Iowa Rodeo held in Rodeo Town USA.

I love the rodeo. The heat, the sweat, the crowds, the bugs, the screaming children. We had none of that this year.

This year it was unseasonably cool. The night I went it had rained earlier in the day keeping the crowds down and my nephews behaved themselves.

Now if only they had turned on the arena lights before they did, my photos would have been so much better. I love the ones I was able to get. I don’t care if they aren’t exposed right or grainy because of the low light. I had my choices between grainy or blury. I rather like the grainy I’ve decided.

My favorite part of the rodeo has always been the clowns. It just wouldn’t be Rodeo without them.

I don’t know why some guys put themselves through this. All I did was sit in the stands and can’t move the next day I can’t imagine the pain he was in in the morning.

It looks like this was falling off but he didn’t. He actually stayed on for the whole 8 seconds. I have no clue how.

My favorite shot of the night. As I was going through all the photos on the camera I thought about deleting this one but changed my mind and decided to keep it till I could see it on the computer. I am so glad I did. I really like it.
