HI! I am Laura! I love capturing moments. Big moments, little moments, fleeting moments, OMG moments, ANY and ALL moments! I am a mother to a preschooler, who hates to have his picture taken, and a wife of 11 years to my best friend, who is an engineer. We live in the country! The city just was not for us so we live where the little boy can run and play, the husband and tear stuff apart, the views are glorious, the air is clean (even if it does occasionally smell of eu de pig... or cow) and the drive to town is relaxing. I use all natural light and shoot on location in the the greater IOWA region. After all this great state is not that big... From the south west corner to the north central areas of Iowa although I have been known to travel east on occasion. Together we can decide where best to capture your moments. Cousins… This is the only photo I have of the cousins together where one of the boys isn't throwing up the ol' middle finger… I really hope they get over this phase soon!! I imagine in 20 years or so when we look back through photos they will realize just how stupid they really looked.
While my nephews and their fathers were doing a little target practice I was busy with the camera. There are just so many interesting things in a bean field…
This sweet little boy was such a treat to photograph. His momma Sam and my little sister, Cameron, have been friends for 20 years or so. Just typing that made me feel old…

Grandma Janet made this sweet little blanket for her first grandson. I think it is safe to say she is beyond thrilled with this little sweetie.
I just couldn't decide which one I liked the best. The color or the black and white. An amazing feat considering I'm not generally a fan of the black and white.
